Returning to Bogotá after a brief, failed attempt to live with his half-sister in the United States, Fer (16) is desperate to move out of his father and stepmother’s house where the atmosphere of a home in crisis is far from the perfect world projected by his friends at their upper-class high school. Impatiently awaiting the money his father has promised him from the inheritance left by his deceased mother, Fer is driven to look for money at any cost. But neither the world of lies that he creates for his friends nor the pressure he puts on his father’s shady business dealings can be maintained for long. And the home he has rejected will no longer be available when he needs it most.
