In the mountains of Risaralda, Colombia, a pair of gold miners discover the perfectly preserved skeleton of a prehistoric mastodon. The event awakens in Guillermo, a film director from Bogota exiled in France, the need to return to his country and explore those mountains, where the father who abandoned him was born and raised. It is, however, in a gated community in Bogota, in the run-down apartment left to him by his deceased father, where Guillermo starts to discover the connections that will one day allow him to unearth his future.
